I've attached a page from an old CTEVH (now CTEBVI) journal (Fall 2007, Vol. L, No. 3). Is the spacing recommended in this article still correct for icons before itemized material in Nemeth transcriptions? BF2011 mentions icons when attached to a heading (section 4.9), but not in any other situation as far as I can tell.
Yes, the spacing is correct for both numbers and words as discussed in the CTEBVI journal. When something is addressed in the Nemeth Code, the rules of the Nemeth Code are followed. Braille Formats is followed for all other situations.
