All the words in a paragraph are italicized, but a slash, with a space on either side, separates the phrases within. I've been reading the NBA Bulletin Fall 2012 article on this subject, and see that the slash does not interfere with the word count used in determining whether single or double italic sign should be used.

Am I correct in putting the double italics sign before the first word (uniform's), and the single (ending) italics sign before the last word (lunch)?

Scanned pdf file is attached. Paragraph is mid-page, after the paragraph beginning "While Moose".

    Thank you!
