My practice, which I learned from my teacher in 1968, has always been to have at least one subdivision on the same braille page at the main itemized material. I now cannot find this in either the Nemeth Code or the Format Code.
The Nemeth Code does require us to follow instructions with at least one line of itemized material on the same page or move to the next page. But that is not the same situation.
Did my teacher make this up? I am working with a student, and I need to justify this practice or tell her she does not have to do it.
