Hi Larry! I'm just wondering if you know of anyone who has attempted some modern music recently - I'm about to begin brailling John Cage "Music of Changes," Penderecki "Threnody: for the Victims of Hiroshima," Crumb "Black Angels," and Berio "Sequenzia" and just wondering if anyone's given these any thought yet. They are quite strange and I'm excited to do them, but don't want to reinvent the wheel if they've already been attempted. Thanks!

    Kathleen,

As part of transcribing some textbooks, I think Heidi Lehmann has dealt with some of these pieces. You can contact her at heidi@bach2braille.com.

I think that some of these things that are entirely graphics cannot be rendered in braille. I don't know if anybody has tried them in tactiles.

    Larry.
