I've attached print showing graduated cylinders. When done as a tactile graphic in braille, am I correct that the numerical indicator IS needed?

Thanks!

The Guidelines and Standards for Tactile Graphics does not specifically mention graduated cylinders. Sometimes you need to take the general principle and apply it to another similar situation. Personally, in this case, I think I would extrapolate from the information given for thermometers. Page 61 of the Guidelines and Standards says, "the numeric indicator should be omitted when depicting measuring tools, ...", and although this is probably referring to the ruler, and protractor, I think it is safe to say that the graduated cylinder is being used as a tool to measure.
Remember, these are guidelines, not rules.
