Do we include the numeric indicator after the function name within a fraction, or would it somehow be confused with the fraction terminator?  Here’s the print and two versions of braille.  Which one is correct?

Thank you for the question. We do include the numeric indicator for a number after a function name (the function’s “argument”). Within a fraction, such a numeric indicator could not be confused with a fraction terminator, because it is preceded by a space. So, the first braille transcription in your attached document is correct.
