proof questions

Good morning,
I have two questions on the attached worksheet that I am hoping you can help me with.

1. Do I need to leave a blank line separating the itemized material from the Given/Prove/Proof components which follow?
2. Under Statements and Reasons columns, instead of step-numbered statements, there are step-lettered statements. I am probably over-thinking this, but I don’t think I would use the ELI when I change the step-letters to aS, aR, bS, bR, etc. Is this correct?

You will need to leave a blank line between the paragraph material and the “listed” items (the steps) that follow.

An ELI is not required on either of the letters involved in the step numbered statements (aS. or aR.)
