There have been discussion about how to determine the difference between "verse" and "prose" poetry. Most instances are apparent, but in a lot of cases there is confusion. Such as in attachment.

    1. Can a play be both "verse" and "prose"?

    2. Are the tell-tell signs besides:

    a. supposedly natural language

    b. lines starting with capitals

Please see the attachment below the question.

    1. Yes, a play can be both prose and verse. See Sample 15-7 of Braille Formats
    2. Yes I think that covers it...sometimes you can tell by the margins used in print as well.

Your sample did not come through so I can't address that .
