    Hi Dorothy,
I have a multiple choice itemized problem with answer choices (a-e) listed as subdivisions that will deal with information in a tree diagram. I will have to put a key for the tree diagram on a facing page right after the itemized question and its subdivisions, so that the key falls before the diagram (the diagram is large and will need to take up a whole page). Do I leave a blank line after the last multiple choice problem subdivision, and before the line with Key: or would it go on the line just below the last subdivision?

    Thanks,
    Susan

There is no rule requiring a blank line before a transcriber's note. That's what the word Key is -- a tn. You would not need a blank line between the last subdivision and the tn.
