Separation lines

I have a column titled “in” which only has general omission indicators in the columns. Do I use dots 5, 25 even though there is only one cell in the heading and in the column?

Yes you would use dots 5, 25 for the column separation line. That would make your column two cells wide even though the items in the column are only 1 cell wide.
