spatial nemeth in a cookbook

Braille Formats 2011 says to use Nemeth indicators in partially technical works, but if the Nemeth is spatial, then what? I've attached a page from a cookbook and my best attempt at brailling it. I encountered all sorts of interesting issues while doing it. Do you have any further comments?

Hi Julie. For the reader's benefit, since this is not a math book, I think it would be a better decision to follow EBAE's suggestions here. I would braille

1. Subtract 192°F from 212°F:

just as it appears in print, followed by a transcriber's note (in 7-5) saying something like this:

212ºF (boiling point of water at sea level) minus 192ºF (boiling point of water at your altitude) equals 20ºF (temperature difference)

using literary braille rules throughout.
