Unnecessary elements?

I have an incidental note that reads:

Visit www. xyz.com for e • Glossary and e • Word Game.

The lowercase e in between these are in italics. This is a lower grade book in UEB. Should I leave them? Make them italics? I undecided.

Formats allows for the removal of emphasis on single letters – you can leave it off. Especially if this is for lower grades.
