New Training Video: BANA Guidelines for Early Educational Materials

At the end of last year, BANA released their new Guidelines for the Transcription of Early Educational Materials from Print to Braille. With new guidelines in place, it became imperative to not only learn the new guidelines, but also how to properly apply them to your transcription work. As we received more and more questions regarding the new guidelines, we planned a live training to walk users through the document.

That training took place at the end of March 2021 and was our most attended webinar yet! Presented by Dan Gergen, Chair of the NBA Unified English Braille Literary Committee and Amy Furman, Vice Chair of the NBA Unified English Braille Literary Committee, the 90-minute training walks attendees through the guidelines providing explanations and examples of how to correctly apply the new principles.

If you weren’t able to attend that training, we’ve just made the recording from that webinar available for purchase.
