Upcoming Webinars

We are proud to be continuing our educational offerings with free webinars open to all. Our monthly rotating topic for April will be Foreign Language Braille, and the First Friday in May will be a continuation of Braille Formats. For a more detailed description of the two upcoming webinars and how to attend, please see the below information on each.

Multi-line Brackets in Foreign Text
Presenter: Carol Greer
Friday, April 28, 2017 at 3:00 pm EST

Multi-line brackets are used to show a correlation between a word or phrase and a group of related words. While not unique to foreign text, multi-line brackets are often used in multiple situations within foreign language textbooks. This webinar will focus on where to find information necessary to transcribe multi-line brackets consistently. While we will only be looking at a few basic examples, methods for dealing with more complex print will be briefly discussed.
