    Yes, there are some notes. Luckily, not very many. You are correct that they only occur in one of the versions ... the Modern text. The Original text doesn't have notes, but it is line numbered. 🙂

    Thanks for your suggestion. The PCI will be a good cue to note the in and out of the version, plus it will keep page numbering exactly as in print.

    Hanging in there. Crazy times, but formatting braille always seems to help me relax ... even line-numbered text and footnotes!

    There are no current Early Literacy Guidelines. They are no longer posted on the APH website because they are being revised and and updated to reflect the new Formats. Therefore, the current guidelines in Formats are to be followed regarding double spacing.

    The transcriber must determine if the circles, shadings, and other enhancements of item number/letters have any meaning. If this is merely decorative to visually emphasis the item number, ignore. If the transcriber determines that there is meaning added, use the shape indicator. However, as this single page appears to me, I would ignore.
