Description: We’ll take a comprehensive walk-through of the BANA “Guidelines for the Transcription of Early Educational Materials from Print to Braille,” which was published in December 2020. This document replaces the Promising Practices 2007 guidelines. In exploring the new guidelines, we will highlight their connections and departures from Rules of UEB and Braille Formats as well as other cross-references. Our goal is to prepare you to make great transcriptions of educational materials for early (K-3) learners.
