Nominations for the NBA Board of Directors

For over 70 years, the National Braille Association has been guided by a volunteer Board of Directors. It is now time to nominate individuals to fill the upcoming board vacancies that will be available in the Fall of 2017. Those selected to serve in the officer and director positions listed below will be installed at NBA’s Professional Development Conference in October, in Orlando, Florida. Important Braille Formats Certification Deadline

The Braille Formats code, Principles of Print to Braille Transcription, 2011, has been used to transcribe educational textbooks for nearly six years. NBA is proud to be the only source in the United States for a transcriber to receive a certification in textbook formatting, and we’ve certified quite a few of you in recent years. Seeking Lifetime Achievement Award Nominees

The National Braille Association is thankful for the countless men and women who have dedicated their lives to ensuring that individuals who are blind receive high quality braille.
